Software Manager Reference
All Software Manager activities are performed within the active database.
To close a database
1. Select File menu > Close Database.
The Close Database dialog box appears.
2. Mark the check box next to the database or databases to close and click OK.

Multiple Software Manager Databases
When you start Software Manager, the main Software Manager window appears. Some
of the panes might be empty if no packages are in the Software Manager database.
Software Manager Window
Toolbar
Contains buttons for quick access to many Software Manager commands. It also
provides quick access to ConflictManager.
Database Pane
Displays summary information about the Software Manager database.
If multiple databases are open (Enterprise Management Server only), the information
refers to the active database, which is the one selected in the Applications/Packages
on page 19
