Heat outputs
Heat outputs are measured according to standard EN 442,
with a water temperature of 75/65°C and room tempera-
ture of 20°C.
Coating process
The radiators are coated in a modern facility, specially
designed to protect the environment.
Pre-treatment
The pre-treatment consists of degreasing the radiators
(removal of grease and oil) and phosphating. In combi-
nation with the base coat, the phosphate layer provides
excellent rust protection. After pre-treatment, the radiators
are rinsed in deionised water.
Coating
This procedure consists of 2 phases. First and foremost the
radiators are coated cataphoretically with a corrosion
resistant base layer via submersion in a KTL-bath.
The radiators are then baked in a hot air oven at +/- 175°C.
Finally the powdered epoxy-polyester layer is applied, this one
is resistant to shocks, normal humidity and the majority of
acids, in accordance with standards DIN 55900 and EN 442.
Packaging
The radiators are protected on 2 sides by cardboard, including
corner protectors. The whole is packed in shrink-wrapping.
Guarantee
Purmo gives a 10 year quality guarantee on the entire
range of radiators and underfloor heating!
