8.1. Features and functions

Function and features of the program.
Monitor is used under FreeBSD operating system only!
Monitor has been developed to check for viruses in files every time they are
opened, saved or executed. The program handles files of FreeBSD OS,
FTP, HTTP, HTTP Proxies, POP3, Samba and other network servers
whose filesystems are located on the local computer.
When the program is installed (see subchapter 8.2.1), customized (see
subchapter ) and launched (see subchapter 8.3), it can perform the
following functions:

Prevent infected files from being opened, executed or saved on
all local and mounted filesystems on the local computer.
