Causes
The USB ports are disabled
in the system BIOS.

Invalid memory
configuration. The system
will run but with the
specified memory module
disabled.
Invalid memory
configuration. The system
will run but with less memory
than is physically available.
The memory frequency may
be intentionally set lower for
power conservation.
The current memory
configuration may support
only the minimum frequency.
Corrective Actions
Power down and restart the
system from the power
button, and then enter the
System Setup program to
enable the USB port(s).
Reboot to take the system
out of manufacturing mode.
Ensure that the memory
modules are installed in a
valid configuration. See

Installation Guidelines" on
page 67.
