Mechanism of Color Printing

In color printing, the shape and color of images are expressed in groups of minute
cyan, magenta, yellow, and black dots.
Therefore, image data input in the printer are dissolved into cyan, magenta, yellow,
and black.
The data is developed in each cartridge, and toner is transferred onto paper
repeatedly.

After all the four colors are
transferred on the intermediate
transfer unit, the paper is fed
and printed.
When data in all four colors is transferred onto paper, the paper goes through the
fuser unit and is output.
