Advanced Mode - Specifying the Parameters of a Scan

You can specify the parameters of a scan by selecting a part of the image. When
you scan again, only the part of the image you have specified is scanned.
You can specify the parameters of a scan with one of the following methods.
To Select the Parameters of a Scan Automatically
After previewing, on the Toolbar, click
gradually crop off the image outside the borders detected in the preview image.
To Specify the Parameters of a Scan

To maintain the current width and height proportions set for the
image even after selecting the parameters of the scan, click
the [Input Settings].

Do one of the followings.
● Specify by dragging

. Then click and drag from the upper left corner of the parameter you wish to
specify to the lower right of the parameter. To adjust even further, drag the corner or
border of the selected parameters.
● Specify size

(Width) and

pointer inside the crop border, then drag.
