2.4 Preparing an Installation on IBM
An iSeries system must be prepared on the i5/OS side before installing SUSE® Linux
Enterprise Server. This section describes the installation with a built-in CD ROM drive.
TIP
The steps in this section are especially written for installation on iSeries systems
running IBM i5/OS V5R3. They can also be performed on IBM i5/OS V5R4 and
V5R2. Additional options only available to i5/OS V5R2 are described in Linux
