  • Page 7 IX1500N Operation & Service Manual Installation The Sure Flame Model IX1500N is an indirect-fired gas heater intended to be used primarily for the temporary heating of buildings under construction, alteration or repair. Since the products of combustion are released, it is imperative that the flue stack is extended outside of the enclosed area when the heater is positioned indoors.
  • Page 8 IX1500N Operation & Service Manual Ducting The IX1500N can be ducted on both the inlet and outlet. The inlet duct can be up to 50' of smooth 24”x24" metal duct The outlet duct shall be of a material able to withstand temperatures of up to 450°F.

A regulator must be installed on the heater to ensure that the pressure to the heater does not exceed 5 psi inlet pressure. 2. If more than one error is triggered the arrow keys can be used to scroll between the errors and warnings. The top right displays the current and total number of errors with the most recent being shown first.

One pair is on the burner impeller, the second is on the main blower impeller. They need to be periodically lubricated according to the schedule below.
