  • Page 5 Important Safety Information The Accu‑Chek Aviva Plus System The Accu‑Chek Aviva Plus blood glucose monitoring system is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertips, forearm, upper arm, or palm. The Accu‑Chek Aviva Plus blood glucose monitoring system is intended to be used by a single person and should not be shared.

Test results are stored from the newest to the oldest, so set the time and date correctly in the meter.

The chosen basis for electrostatic discharge immunity testing was basic standard IEC 61000‑4‑2. In addition, the meter meets the electromagnetic emissions requirements as per EN 61326. The meter’s electromagnetic emission is thus low.
