Testing for blood glucose

1

Insert a test strip

Insert the test strip into the meter in the direction of the arrow;
the meter switches on. Messung wird vorbereitet (Preparing to
test) appears on the display.
3

Applying blood

Place the end of the test strip against the drop of blood. Do not
place the blood on top of the test strip. As soon as a sufficient
amount of blood has been drawn into the test strip, Messung
wird durchgeführt (Analyzing) appears on the display.
If you wish, the data is then transferred to the
Accu-Chek Connect app on your smartphone.
2
When Tropfen auftragen (Apply drop) appears on the display,
use the lancet to obtain a drop of blood from the side of your
fingertip (brief instructions on back).
4

Mark the test result

The test result appears on the top half of the display.
To add a mark to the test result, press OK: Markierung (Mark)
appears on the display. Press the up/down button to select
the required mark and confirm with OK.
