The Netscape Enterprise Server search function allows you to search the contents
and attributes of documents on the server. As the server administrator, you can
create a customized text search interface tailored to your user community.

About Search
Server documents can be in a variety of formats, such as HTML, Microsoft Excel,
Adobe PDF, and WordPerfect, provided that there is a conversion filter available
for a particular file format. With the filters, the server converts the documents into
HTML as it indexes them, allowing you to use your web browser to view the
documents found for your search. For more information, see "About Collections"
on page 253.
The Search function is not available on Linux platforms.
