Touch Panel Pages - Overview

The area of display on an AMX touch panel is called a page. Pages can be designed as a control
panel. Use TPD4 to create Pages, add buttons, bargraphs, sliders, and graphics, and designate the
control functions for each object.
You can create up to 500 pages and 500 popup pages as needed to achieve your functional goals.
Like the name suggests, popup pages are smaller pages that "pop" up in their own window, above
the actual page file that is displayed on the panel. Popup pages are similar to regular pages in that
they contain buttons, but are different in that you can assign a border style. Use popup pages in
conjunction with regular pages to design and create an impressive and intuitive user-interface for
your touch panels.
When you create multiple pages, you must link them (via page flips) to be able to go from one page
to another. Do this with a page-flip attribute assigned to the specific button. As a basic example,
you might have a main page with a one button labeled "Audio", one labeled "Video", and any
number of others. You could set the "Audio" button to cause a page flip to another page containing
buttons specific to selecting a piece of audio equipment to control (i.e. several buttons labeled CD,
DVD, DAT, etc). Each of these buttons could in turn cause a page flip to another page containing
buttons specific to controlling the selected piece of audio equipment (i.e. Play, Pause, Stop, etc).
