  • Page 9 Warning Before Use Devine Sound Scout speakers are able to produce volume levels that over a short or long period of time can cause temporary or permanent hearing damage. Always use this device with care and set a limited volume level whenever possible.
  • Page 10 Mic Level (UHF) The optional wireless microphones (Devine Sound Scout Mic A, Mic B or Bodypack) can be connected to the speaker to amplify speech or vocals: - Turn the volume of the UHF section down.
  • Page 11 Master Level This control determines the master volume of the speaker. Below it, two indicator LEDs have been fitted. The green LED indicates that the device is switched on, while the red LED is a clipping indicator. If the clipping indicator lights up, the master volume will need to be turned down until the red light turns off.
  • Page 12 Continuously overloading the built-in amplifier while the red LED burns can significantly shorten the lifespan of the internal speaker components as well as the built-in amplifier and may even cause irreparable damage. Bear in mind that any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty. General Tips for Microphone Use For optimum sound quality, the microphone needs to be held close to the mouth and at no more than five centimetres from the lips.

    Troubleshooting If you happen to encounter any problems while using your Sound Scout speaker, we recommend checking this troubleshooting section to see if a solution can be found. If none of the suggested solutions included below solve your particular problem, please contact your local retailer for further advice. This troubleshooting section includes all of the most common possible issues and is not a complete list of every possible fault, defect, and their subsequent solution.
