Populating a collection
Once you've created a collection, you can populate it with data from text and binary
files in a directory you specify. Data from a ColdFusion query can only be indexed
using the ColdFusion CFINDEX tag in a ColdFusion application page.
Verity Supported File Types
The ColdFusion Verity implementation supports a wide array of document types. This
means you can index Web pages, ColdFusion applications, and many binary
document types and produce search results that include summaries of these
documents.
The following table lists the supported document types.
