Configuring ColdFusion probes
ClusterCATS load balances and provides failover support for your ColdFusion
applications in two ways. First, it automatically interprets and reacts to the load metric
that the ColdFusion Server generates. Second, ClusterCATS lets you create ColdFusion
application probes that periodically test the health and operation of the sites that the
ColdFusion Server processes.
Session-aware load balancing may not work if you've used absolute
hyperlinks in an application page. Absolute hyperlinks route the HTTP
request back to the cluster entry point and redirect according to the
current load threshold without regard to the state of the requesting client.
To avoid this inadvertent loss of state, be sure to use only relative linking
in your application pages.
