Displays a list of VirusScan command-line options,
each with a brief description.
On-demand
Scan all local drives—including compressed drives
scanning only
and PC cards, but not disks—in addition to any
other drive specified on the command line.
To scan both local and network drives, use the
/ADL and /ADN commands together in the same
command line.
OS/2: /ADL includes the CD-ROM drive in the
scan, when used with /NODDA.
On-demand
Scan all network drives—including CD-ROM—for
scanning only
viruses, in addition to any other drive(s) specified
on the command line.
To scan both local drives and network drives, use
the /ADL and /ADN commands together in the
same command line.
On-demand
Designates the directory <dir> as a network path
scanning only
for Centralized Alerting alert messages.
On-demand
Overrides the default scan setting by scanning all
scanning only
infectable files—regardless of extension.
Using the /ALL option substantially increases the
scanning time required. Use it only if you find a
virus or suspect that you have one.

Sets scanner to use its full heuristics, both
