Purpose
Export nothing [generally unused]
Export System Scan
Export E-Mail Scan
Export Internet Scan
Export AvConsol.exe settings
Export Scheduled Tasks
Export Default On-Demand Scan
Export All (default)
The settings specifiers appear here in hexadecimal format. To
determine a value to use with the /EXPOPTIONS option, combine each
of the settings you want to use together with a logical OR operation,
then pass the resulting value as a decimal.
Example: Suppose you want to export System Scan, AvConsol, and
Scheduled Tasks settings only. Combine the hexadecimal values for
these settings together in a logical OR operation:
0x00000001h | 0x00000008h | 0x00000010h = 0x00000019h
Next, take the resulting value and change the hexadecimal number to
a decimal number:
0x00000019h = 25
Add the decimal value to the command line:
msi_inst.exe /EXPOPTIONS 25
Start Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus after
the MSI_INST.EXE utility finishes
importing or exporting settings.
Preserve existing paths. This tells
MSI_INST.EXE to set a switch in
the resulting .INI file that will
adjust paths when the Custom
Installation Creator or another Dr
Solomon's Anti-Virus installation
imports a new .INI file. This will
update any paths that point to
executables and log files to reflect
the current installation. You may
use this option only with the
/EXPORT option; it will not work
with the /IMPORT option.
