Meaning
White 4 Ink Cartridge is not installed.
Black Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
White 1 Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
Magenta Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.

Cyan Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
White 3 Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
Yellow Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
White 4 Ink Cartridge ran out of ink.
The Wiper Cleaner Cassette is not
installed.
The ambient temperature is under the
operative temperature rage.
"xxx" shows the current temperature.
The ambient temperature is over
operative temperature rage.
"xxx" is the current temperature.
(1) Platen didn't return to the home
position because Platen Motor
stepped out. Or (2) Platen Org Sensor
did not work while Platen returned
correctly.
GT-782 detected an obstacle on the
Platen (or the media) when printing is
started.
Defect in FLASH ROM Check Sum on
the SH side.
When updating the firmware, no
backup was made because of the
defect of the current firmware.
No individual information (the serial
number etc.) is recorded in GT-782.
The Print Head temperature is raised
too high while printing.
The Compact Flash is not inserted.
Install a White Ink Cartridge.
Replace to a new Black Cartridge.
Replace to a new White Cartridge.
Replace to a new Magenta Cartridge.
Replace to a new White Cartridge.
Replace to a new Cyan Cartridge.
Replace to a new White Cartridge.
Replace to a new Yellow Cartridge.
Replace to a new White Cartridge.
Install the Wiper Cleaner Cassette.
Raise the room temperature.
Drop the room temperature.

Remove the obstacle, flat the platen surface and then press OK
Button.

Wait until the head(s) cool down. Or contact Brother Customer
Service Hot Line.
Push OK Button to escape menu and re-enter Compact Flash.
