Errata Notes
(continued from page 13)
10. When the MAIN command bank is selected, pressing the 7/5
button on the remote control will not toggle between 7 and
5-channel playback if the REAR L/R or SIDE L/R parameters on
the CUSTOM SETUP menu are set to NONE. The message,
"FEATURE UNAVAILABLE DUE TO CONFIGURATION" will
appear on the on-screen and front panel displays.
11. When the SHIFT command bank is selected, pressing the THX
button on the remote control selects the appropriate THX
listening mode for the current input. Pressing the THX button
again adjusts the SURROUND EX parameter, cycling through
the AUTO, ON, and OFF settings.
12. When the SHIFT command bank is selected, pressing the dts
button on the remote control selects the appropriate dts(-ES)
listening mode for the current input. Pressing the dts button
again adjusts the ES DECODING parameter, cycling through
the AUTO, ON, and OFF settings.
13. The ANLG IN LVL parameter on the RECORD ADV menu affects
the digital RECORD AUDIO OUTPUT labelled S/PDIF. This
parameter prevents the internal analog-to-digital converter
from overloading. It can be adjusted while listening to an input
source.
14. The level meters on the ANLG IN LVL menu indicate signal
levels for the selected input, whether an analog or digital input
source is present. For example, the level meters will indicate
digital input signal levels when a digital input source is present.
14
15. The level meters on the ANLG IN LVL menu might not indicate
accurate input levels when a 5.1 analog input source is present
and the ANALOG BYPASS parameter on the MAIN ADV menu
is set to ON.
16. The level meters on the ANLG IN LVL menu and the listening
mode STATUS menus appear in combinations of green, yellow,
and red when the on-screen display has a blue-screen
background. Green indicates low input levels, yellow indicates
normal input levels, and red indicates the onset of overload.
17. References to the INPUT GAIN parameter on page 3-7 of the
MC-12 User Guide (Rev 1) refer to the AUTO GAIN parameter
on the ANLG IN LVL menu.
18. The factory-default setting of the COMPONENT OSD
parameter on the MAIN ADV menu is OFF. When set to ON,
the component on-screen display appears on a full blue-screen
background. See page 3-14 of the MC-12 User Guide (Rev 1).
19. When the REAR L/R parameter on the CUSTOM SETUP menu is
set to NONE, the unit redirects rear channel signals to the SIDE
L/R outputs. See page 3-21 of the MC-12 User Guide (Rev 1).
20. The SUB LIMITERS menu has been renamed the BASS PEAK
LIMITERS menu. The menu and its parameters still function as
described on pages 3-28 and 3-29 of the MC-12 User Guide
(Rev 1).
21. The MONO listening mode menu has been updated to include
a SUB L/R LVL parameter and a CUSTOM menu option. This
menu is shown on page 21 of this document.
