Introduction DOCUMENTATION CONVENTIONS This document contains Configuration Tool installation and operating instructions for Lexicon Digital Controllers and Receivers. Refer to the component’s designated User Guide for general safety, installation, and operation instructions. Unless otherwise specified, this document uses the term “component” to refer to the Lexicon Digital Controller or Receiver.
A stored configuration file serves as an archive of user-defined settings. It can be emailed (for instance, to Lexicon Customer Service, if troubleshooting issues arise). If the file is saved in .txt format, it can also be printed.

To install Configuration Tools on your computer: 1. Exit all computer programs. 2. Navigate to www.lexicon.com/downloads and select the Configuration Tools download from the appropriate product page. Use the Browse feature to save the file to the hard drive of your computer.
But, certain factors such as cable type, cable length, and environmental conditions sometimes cause communication failures. If this occurs, attempt the file transfer again.
