The SH40 sonar is based on advanced software. We are
continuously improving our products, and for this reason the
sonar software is upgraded. New software versions will in most
cases provide you with new functionality. To find out which
software your sonar uses, click the

New feature
Noise filter
The new filter will remove impulsive noise like cavitating
propellers and interfering noise from other sonars and echo
sounders.
New transmission beamforming greatly enhances the sonar
performance.
Improved performance when the sonar beam is tilted.
Added interface for third-party current profiler.
Improved software installation.
SW 1.2.X
This is the first software version for the SH40 sonar.
