How to safely install, operate, and maintain Trailer Wishbone harness
1 Introduction:
1.1 About the product
This Kit provides all necessary wiring harness to electrically connect Trailer to the Towing Car
1.2 Important Safety Precautions
Warning: Do not operate your trailer Lights if your tow vehicle has wiring problems or faulty wiring harness
connections.
Warning:
All connections must be complete to function properly. Test and verify installation with a test light,
circuit tester or trailer once installed.
Warning:
Overloading circuit can cause fires. DO NOT exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
Max. 2.1 amps per Turn/Stop Circuits
Tail Light Circuits: (7.5 amps)

2.1 Package Contents
This kit comes with the following items. Please check whether they are all included in the package, if one or some
is missing,
contact the retailer
a) 1x 25' ( or 20') long wishbone "Y" trailer side harness with 4 flat connector
3 Getting Started
3.1 How to install Trailer Wishbone "Y" Harness
Step 1 From the parts supplied in the package identify the "Y" type Trailer harness with 4 flat connector,
Step 2 Identify mounting locations for both Rear Combo Lights and Amber Side Markers using diagram below.

  • Page 2 Step 3 At both mounting locations drill two 1/4" holes on 2" center for mounting of the Rear Combo Lights and drill one 1/4" hole ( on both sides of the trailer) for mounting of the Amber Markers. Note: Side Marker should be located as far forward as practical exclusive of tongue (D.O.T. MVSS 108). Take one Ring terminal and Prepare White (ground) wire of “Y"...
  • Page 3 Step 8 Attach the Ground Terminal (White wire) to the trailer metal, uncoated and rustproof point on the frame by using sheet metal screw (not provided). 3.2 How to install Tow Vehicle Wiring (Sold separately). Step 1 Disconnect the Tow Vehicle Battery. Note: If your vehicle DOES NOT have 4 Flat connector installed, follow to the next steps.
