Controller 1. Safety Instructions These safety instructions are intended to prevent hazardous situations and/or equipment damage. These instructions indicate the level of potential hazard with the labels of “Caution,” “Warning” or “Danger.” They are all important notes for safety and must be followed in addition to International Standards (ISO/IEC) , and other safety regulations.
Controller Safety Instructions Caution SMC develops, designs, and manufactures products to be used for automatic control equipment, and provides them for peaceful use in manufacturing industries. Use in non-manufacturing industries is not allowed. Products SMC manufactures and sells cannot be used for the purpose of transactions or certification specified in the Measurement Act of each country.
Figure 1. System configuration diagram SIk) 3.2 How to change LECP1/LECP2 mode Please refer to "How to change between LECP1 mode and LECP2 mode" on page 40 of the ACTController2 instruction manual (for JXC51/61 controllers equipped with LECP1 and LECP2 modes). - 4 -...
The remaining connections will be the same as in "3.1 Preparation." 4.2 Writing setp data Since LECP1/LECP2 cannot output or save step data externally, it is necessary to register and write new step data to JXC51/61. For the setting values for each number of the LECP1/LECP2 forward/reverse speed switch and forward/reverse acceleration switch, please refer to the LECP1 instruction manual, "10.
(2) LECP2 mode Enter the step data "Speed", "Position", "PushingF", "TriggerLV" and "PushingSp" values, and click the "Write step data" button. -Stroke learning- Stroke learning is performed by clicking the "Stroke learning" button in the step data window in test mode. If you are not using the controller setting software (ACTController2), you can perform it by inputting the STUDY input signal (terminal number: A9) after powering on.
5. Step3 Change the product installation 5.1 Product dimensions and changes There is no compatibility between the LECP1/LECP2 and JXC51/61 product exterior dimensions and installation dimensions. Table 1. Product appearance dimension comparison LECP1/LECP2 external dimensions (1)Screw mounting(LECP1/2□□-□) (2)DIN rail mounting (LECP1/2□□D-□) Figure 4.
6. Step4 Change the power supply wiring 6.1 Power supply wiring method and changes The LECP1/LECP2 power cable (LEC-CK1-1) will be changed to a JXC51/61 power plug (JXC-CP2). Due to a lack of compatibility between parts, the power supply will need to be rewired.
7.1 The IO cable wiring method and changes The IO cable for LECP1/LECP2 (LEC-CK4-*) will be changed to the IO cable for JXC51/61 (LEC-CN5- Since there is no compatibility of parts, it will be necessary to rewire the IO cable.

The *ALARM output signal turns ON when no alarm has occurred and the servo is ON.
8. Step6 Change the actuator cable wiring 8.1 Actuator cable wiring method and modifications There are no changes to the actuator cables for LECP1/LECP2 and JXC51/61 and they can be used in common.
