RUCKUS ICX 8100 Switch
Quick Setup Guide
The RUCKUS ICX 8100 Quick Setup Guide provides instructions for a user to
get started with ICX 8100-C08PF, ICX 8100-24, ICX 8100-24P, ICX 8100-48,
and ICX 8100-48P switches.

The RUCKUS ICX 8100 shipping box includes all of the following items:
• The ICX 8100 device
• An accessory kit containing the following items:
– Rack mounting kit. The kit containing one set of eight and one set of
six sink-head screws (24-port and 48-port models only)
– Two-post rack-mounting kit. The kit containing four rack-mounting
screws and four cage nuts (included only with 24-port and 48-port
models)
– Wall mounting kit containing two wall-mount screws and two plastic
anchors (ICX 8100-C0PF model)
– One power cord clip
– China-RoHS Hazardous/Toxic Substance statement
– Read Me First document
Device Overview
RUCKUS ICX 8100 devices offer 8, 24, or 48 1-GbE copper ports that
support 10/100/1000 Mbps operation and two or four SFP ports that
support 1-Gbps operation. ICX 8100-C08PF, ICX 8100-24P, ICX 8100-48P
models support IEEE 802.3bt Type 2 Class 4 PoE (up to 30W) per port.
