Type the name of the new connection in the connection description interface and click OK. The
system displays the following interface. From the Connect using drop-down list, select the serial
interface to be used.

Click OK and the system displays the following interface. On the interface, set Bits per second to
9600, Data bits to 8, Parity to none, Stop bits to 1, and Flow control to none.
