Chapter 3 Switch Installation

The S9500 series are designed for indoor applications.
Warning:
Do not touch any exposed wires, terminals or any parts labelled with a high-voltage
hazard warning to avoid bodily injury.

3.1 Installation Flow

Mount the switch in a rack

3.2 Confirming Installation Preparation

Make sure that you have read Chapter 2 Preparing for the Installation carefully.
All requirements mentioned in Chapter 2 Preparing for the Installation have been
met.
Start
Confirm installation preparation
Confirm installation position
Install the switch on a workbench
Connect the PGND wire
Install a PSU
Install boards
Install PoE power supply
(optional)
Connect interface cables
Verify the installation
Finish
