USING THIS GUIDE

The information contained in this guide will help you become familiar with the operation and features of your new Kia vehicle. The flipbook format facilitates information access, while the detailed illustrations ensure the instructions are easy to follow.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Low Tire Pressure Light indicates one or more tires is under-inflated. Other causes for indicator light are: spare tire without TMPS or a change in temperature (cold).

  • Inflate tire(s) to specifications to turn off Low Tire Pressure Light. This specification can be found on a label attached to the front driver's door jamb.

TPMS Malfunction Indicator remains illuminated when there is a problem with the system. See your dealer for service.

warning NOTE: Consult your dealer for service if Low Tire Pressure Light remains illuminated after inflating your tire(s).

warning NOTE: For proper maintenance, safety, and maximum fuel economy, you must always maintain recommended tire inflation pressures and stay within the load limits and weight distribution recommended for your vehicle.

warning NOTE: Tire pressure should be checked at least once a month. Only adjust tire pressure on "cold tires."

Tripmeter


Press TRIP button to select Tripmeter A or B. Press and hold to reset Tripmeter display to zero.

With ignition ON and vehicle in PARK, press up or down to adjust distance of pedals from driver.

warning NOTE: Headlights must be ON for Fog Light operation.

Windshield Wipers & Washers

Rear Wiper & Washer*

Rear Wiper & Washer

OFF: Wiper off
INT: Intermittent wipe
ON: Continuous wipe
Bottom : Spray washer fluid and wipe

Steering Wheel Audio Controls*

  1. Toggle Audio Modes FM1 / FM2 / AM / AUX* / CD / CD-Changer*
  2. Adjust Volume
  3. Pull toward driver to mute sound. Pull again to restore.

Cruise Control*

  1. To turn Cruise Control ON/OFF
  2. Resume or increase Cruising Speed
  3. Set or decrease Cruising Speed
  4. Cancel Cruise Control

To cancel Cruise Control, do one of the following:

  • Press the brake pedal
  • Press the CANCEL button

To turn Cruise Control OFF:

  • Pull the CRUISE ON/OFF lever

warning NOTE: You can set and automatically maintain speeds between 24 mph and 96 mph.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

Press ESC button to turn ESC OFF/ON.

The ESC system is designed to help stabilize the vehicle during cornering maneuvers. ESC is active by default whenever the ignition is turned on.

It is a good idea to keep the ESC turned on for daily driving whenever possible.
