Opening the bonnet [4]

Pull the release lever to unlatch the bonnet.
- Push the secondary latch inside of the bonnet
- Lift the bonnet
Closing the bonnet
- Before closing the bonnet, check if all filler caps are correctly installed and any other combustible material must be removed from the engine compartment.
- Lower the bonnet until it is about 30 cm above the closed position and let it drop to securely lock in place.
Opening the fuel filler door [4]

Pull up the fuel filler door opener.
- Fully open the door
- Turn cap counterclockwise to open
Closing the fuel filler door
- Turn the cap clockwise until it "clicks" to ensure it is securely closed.
- Close the door and push it lightly and make sure that it is securely closed.

The fog lights will turn on when the fog light switch (1) is turned on after the park light is turned on.
To turn the front fog lights off, turn the front fog light switch to the on position again.
Rear fog lights*

To turn the rear fog lights on, turn the rear fog light switch (1) to the on position when the headlight is turned on. To turn the rear fog lights off, turn the rear fog light switch to the on position again.

Steering Wheel / Cruise Control System

Steering wheel adjustment:
- Pull down the lock release lever
- Angle adjustment

Lock the steering wheel by pulling up the lock release lever.
Heated steering wheel* [4]

When the ignition switch is in the ON position, press the button to heat the steering wheel. The indicator on the button will illuminate. To turn off the heating function, press the button once again.
Cruise control (CC)* [5]

- CRUISE indicator (
/CRUISE) - Set speed
To set speed, press the Driving Assist button (
/MODE) at desired speed.

To increase speed, push the RES+ switch up.

To decrease speed, push the SET - switch down.

Depress the brake pedal to temporarily pause cruise control or press the Driving Assist button (
/MODE) to turn this function off. The cruise (
/CRUISE) indicator will go off.

Resume cruising speed by pushing the RES+ switch up or SET- switch down.

Towing [6]
When towing the vehicle in an emergency without wheel dollies, tow with the front wheels off the ground and:
- Set the ignition switch in the ACC position.
- Place the transaxle shift lever in N (Neutral).
- Release the parking brake.

- Do not tow the vehicle backwards with the front wheels on the ground as this may cause damage to the vehicle.
- Do not tow with sling-type equipment. Use wheel lift or flatbed equipment.

Failure to place the transaxle shift lever in N (Neutral) may cause internal damage to the transaxle.
Removable towing hook* [6]

- Open the tailgate and remove the towing hook from the tool case.
- Remove the hole cover by pressing the lower part of the cover on the bumper.
- Install the towing hook by turning it clockwise until it is fully secured.
- Remove the towing hook and install the cover after use.
Jack and tools* [6]

The shown tools are stored in the luggage compartment. Pull up the luggage box cover to reach this equipment.

Tyre Mobility Kit* [6]

Please read the instructions before using the Tyre Mobility Kit.

With the Tyre Mobility Kit you stay mobile even after experiencing a tyre puncture. After you ensure that the tyre is properly sealed you can drive cautiously on the tyre (up to 200 km (120 miles)) at a max. speed of 80 km/h (50 mph) in order to reach a vehicle or tyre dealer to have the tyre replaced.

Engine Oil / Washer Fluid
Checking the engine oil level [7]

- Be sure the vehicle is on level ground.
- Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature.
- Turn the engine off and wait for a few minutes (about 10 minutes) for the oil to return to the oil pan.
- Pull the dipstick out, wipe it clean, and re-insert it fully.
Refilling engine oil [7]

- Pull the dipstick out again and check the level. The level should be between F (Full) and L (Low). Do not overfill.
- Use a funnel to help prevent oil from being spilled on engine components.
- Use only the specified engine oil. (Refer to "Recommended lubricants and capacities")

Check the fluid level and add fluid if necessary.
Additional Info*
Idle Stop & Go (ISG)
When enabled, ISG automatically stops the car's engine to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The ISG function may not work if the car's battery charge status, ambient temperature and/or engine temperature is too low. Air conditioning/heater control settings may also affect ISG function.
Parking brake (handbrake)
When engaging the parking brake, apply the footbrake first and keep it depressed. Then apply the parking brake.
We strongly recommend to leave the car in first or reverse gear or in the 'P' (Park) position on automatics when leaving the car.
