DVC-000 User's Manual
If a Status Icon is displayed, this indicates the operation the icon represents is not
complete. The i2eye Update Status Icon
the DVC-2000 is quickly determining if auto-update is enabled. If it is enabled, the DVC-
2000 will determine if an update exists. When this is complete, the icon disappears.
If the DVC-2000 cannot connect to the update server, the operation was unsuccessful
and the the icon will show as:
to the Internet.
The Public IP Status Icon,
to connect to the Internet and determine the Public IP address of your Internet
connection. If this operation is unsuccessful and the icon shows as,
cannot be used over the Internet. It can be used on an internal network as an internal
videoconferencing system.
The Directory Service Status Icon
DVC-2000 is registering with the i2eye Directory Service to allow phone number dialing.
If the Directory Service cannot be reached, the
use phone numbers to call other VideoPhones, but you can still make VideoPhone
calls by inputting the IP address of the videophone that you are calling (See Calling a
VideoPhone or H.323 Device with an IP Address on page 27).
For help, see the Troubleshooting section starting on page 56 if any of the Status
Icons show an unsuccessful operation has occurred.
Privacy Status Icons
Privacy Status Icons appear on the Broadband mode screen.
