This procedure is a straightforward and reliable method to ensure the safe operation of the monitor. The test involves activating the audio, visual, and vibration alarms, as well as testing the sensor.

Protégé ZM SYSTEM GUIDE Steps A successful self-test results in the monitor reverting to the standard operating screen, displaying a CHECK MARK where the TEST icon was previously, accompanied by a short audible beep. By default, the monitor prompts another self-test 20 hours after the button was pressed.
Protégé ZM SYSTEM GUIDE 6.2. Retrieving the Event Log using IR Connect By default, the monitor stores the last twenty-five (25) alarm events. It uses a First In First Out (FIFO) method for storage. This means that the twenty-sixth event replaces the first event, and so on. This information can be downloaded to a PC using the IR Connect Software.

Note: The hibernation function is only available in the CO and H S monitors. Note: It is recommended to save the event log prior to placing the monitor in hibernation. Once hibernation occurs, all prior event logs are erased.
