If you run out of fuel, or if the mower stops due to thick
grass or other mechanical reasons, the Touch-N-Mow
starting system will de-energize. To re-start your
mower, follow the steps outlined under "Energizing the
Touch-N-Mow system."
Troubleshooting tips.
If the engine fails to start:
• Check fuel level.
• Ensure spark plug wire is connected properly.
• Re-energize the starting system by following the
steps outlined under "Energizing the Touch-N-Mow
system."
• Remember to push the button before pulling the
blade control handle.
• Make sure safety key is in "run" position.
• If safety key doesn't lock, slightly pull rewind cord;
this releases tension in the starting system.
If engine still fails to start, contact your nearest
