    The electric motor has been designed for 230V and 240V only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. Note: The supply of 230V and 240V on Ozito tools are interchangeable for Australia and New Zealand.

Do not expose your tool to high humidity or rain. Do not use your tool in damp or wet conditions. Keep the work area well lit.

Locking Cutting Head in the Down Position When transporting the saw, the cutting arm should always be locked in the down position. This can be done by lowering the cutting head and pulling the lock pin out off the cradle, rotate it 90°...

Move the cutting head to the up position as described in the FAMILIARISATION section. 3. Rotate the blade protection cover allowing access to the blade bolt by lining up the notched section on the blade cover to the bolt head.

To reset the bevel pointer first set the bevel in the upmost right position. If the pointer is not indicating 0º, simply loosen the screw, adjust the pointer accordingly and fasten the screw.

    CMG-421 manual opt 2 24/5/05 4:48 PM Page 13 OPERATION Guard Actuation and Visibility The blade protection guard on your saw has been designed to rise when the cutting head is brought down. When the cutting head is raised the protection guard retracts, covering the blade.
  • Page 14 CMG-421 manual opt 2 24/5/05 4:48 PM Page 14 OPERATION (cont.) Bevel Cuts A bevel cut is a cross cut made with the saw blade at a bevel to the wood. In order to set the bevel, loosen the bevel lock lever and move the saw head to the left as desired.
