Throughout this manual, the terms MS2717A, Economy Spectrum Analyzer, and Spectrum Analyzer are used interchangeably when referring to this instrument. 1-2 Description The Anritsu Economy Spectrum Analyzer is a synthesizer-based spectrum analyzer that is designed for monitoring, measuring, and analyzing signals quickly and accurately.

  • Page 53 Always use a new fuse of the type and rating specified by the fuse markings on the rear panel of the instrument. 1. Before replacing the line fuse, turn off the rear panel power switch and disconnect the MS2717A from the power source.
  • Page 54 Master Software Tools utility program or that they be copied to an external CF card on the MS2717A. In the event that the Main PCB needs to be replaced, this will prevent permanent loss of these internally saved files.
  • Page 55 Removal and Replacement Opening the MS2717A Enclosure Rack-mounted instruments have two mounting brackets, each held by two screws. Remove the feet (2 screws each) and the handles (2 screws each) to release the outer enclosure from the chassis.
