Bi-spectrum Network Speed Dome Camera User Manual Overview 1 Overview 1.1 Principle of Thermal Imaging and Advantages Any object with temperature higher than the absolute zero (-273.15°F) will emit infrared (IR) ray, even though it does not emit light. The IR ray is also called thermal radiation. IR rays emitted by objects with different temperatures can be absorbed by the detector to reflect temperature change and thus generate an electric effect.
