    PROCEDURE 020-8037-XX 1. Remove unit from pallet and roll to desired final install location. 2. Left (020-8037-XX) and right (020-8038-XX) lower shrouds are taped onto the frame of the unit for shipping. Remove tape then remove shrouds by angling outwards first then pulling free.
  • Page 9 7. Install Left (711-4280) and Right (711-4283) Handrail assemblies into 711-4280 Side Frames (711-4061-XX). Use a ratchet wrench with a 5mm allen 711-4061-XX socket to attach each side with two Button Head Screws (110-3951) - 711-4283 DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN. 711-4061-XX 8.

    FIRST TIME SETUP SELECT THE MODEL 1. Press and hold the 1, 2 on the left keypad and the 8 key on the right keypad together 2. A beep will sound and “MAINTENANCE MODE” will display momentarily in the Information Window.

    Self-Powered Product: StarTrac Electronic Bikes and Ellipticals as well as StairMaster FreeClimbers with LED console are often used in facilities in a self-powered state. The wireless charging tray is designed to charge mobile phones on these self-powered products. Some limitations may apply.

    Display Measurements Message Window The top display window includes several measures: Current total workout time TIME Total distance traveled in mile or DISTANCE Current HR in beats per minute, HEART RATE if available Current total calories CALORIES Progress Window & Track Shows a graphic representation of elevation Pace (TR only) during a program.

    MAINTENANCE MODE Maintenance Mode allows access to service and diagnostic information, as well as provides the ability to adjust certain program default parameters. To enter Maintenance Mode: 1. Press and hold the 1, 2 on the left keypad and the 8 key on the right keypad together.

    INSPECTION Inspect the frame for any rust, bubbling, or paint chips during the daily cleaning. The salt in perspiration can damage the unpainted surfaces. Repair the damaged area with a touch-up paint kit purchased from StairMaster® (see Support & Service for order information).
