Installation Manual
High/low gas pressure switch (SPDT) with automatic or manual reset and with visual indication of switch position.
Mounts directly to various ports on the DMV 700 series valves and/or FRI 500 series regulators.

Read these instructions carefully.
Failure to follow them and/or improper installa-
tion may cause explosion, property damage and
injuries.
Installation must be done with the supervision of
a licensed burner technician.
The system must meet all applicable national and
local code requirements.
Check the ratings given in the specifications and
on the switch to make sure that it is suitable for your
application.
Location
Model GAO-A2-4, GMH-A2-4, and GML-A2-4 can be mount-
ed directly to the DMV 700 ports 1, 4, & 5 and/or the FRI
500 ports A, B, & C. The pressure switch should be mount-
ed in locations meeting the requirements of the applicable
code.

Never perform work if gas pressure or power is
applied or in the presence of an open flame.
Protect surfaces. Make sure that seals and o-
rings are clean and in good condition.
Once installed, perform a complete checkout in-
cluding a gas leak test.
Label all wires prior to disconnection when ser-
vicing switches. Wiring errors can cause improper
and dangerous operation.
Verify proper operation after servicing.
Mounting
The gas supply must be shut off and the DMV 700 series
valve must be de-energized before mounting the gas pres-
sure switch.
Disconnect all power to the pressure switch before begin-
ning to prevent electrical shock and equipment damage.
Recommended Mounting Procedure
Remove the clear cover of the switch.

Open the plastic bag containing the mounting kit which
is placed under the cover.

Take out the M 4 x 20 mm self tapping socket head
screws.
Use the screws to cut the threads in the predrilled holes

in the flange or the side of the valve body at the desired
mounting position.
Use a 3 mm hex key wrench to turn the screws. After
cutting the threads remove the M 4 x 20 mm socket head
screws.
