MOUNTING OPTIONS Three Mounting Options Closemount Downrod Mount Angled Ceiling Mount (Up to 16 degrees) Choose one of the following mounting options: Closemount is best suited for ceilings lower than 8 feet. It does not utilize the downrod. Downrod Mount is best suited for ceilings 8 ft.

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ ALL SAFETY INFORMATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN INSTALLING THE FAN AND SAVE INSTRUCTIONS. CAUTION: This fan is not suitable for damp or outdoor locations. All set screws of the fan must be checked and retightened where necessary before installation. To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not bend the blade brackets when installing the brackets, balancing the blades or cleaning fan.

    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: To avoid risk of electric shock, be sure to shut off power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box before installing or servicing this fixture. Turning off the electrical power by using the light switch is not sufficient to prevent electrical shock.

  • Page 7 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS DOWNROD MOUNT 5. Remove the downrod clip and downrod pin from the Downrod Clip downrod. Then, loosen but don’t remove the two set screws in the yoke of the motor assembly. Downrod Set Screw Yoke 36-Inch 6. Insert the downrod -- or a longer downrod (not Lead Wire included), if required -- through the canopy and yoke cover.

Make the following wire connections according to the diagram and these steps: • Lift the lever and then push the White (neutral) supply Black (hot) wire into the empty hole of the push-in connector White (neutral) preassembled to the white wire of lead wire and then lower the lever to secure wire.
  • Page 9 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 13. Install the blade arm to the underside of the motor assembly with preinstalled motor screws. Tighten each blade arm completely before moving to the next. Motor Assembly Note: The notch in the fitter plate allows a Phillips screwdriver access to the motor screws.

NO LIGHT KIT INSTALLATION (OPTIONAL) Hex Nut Lock Washer To install the fan without the light kit, remove the preassembled hex nut and lock washer from the Switch Housing threaded rod inside the switch housing. Disconnect the single-pin connectors from inside the switch housing.

Using a ceiling fan will allow you to raise your thermostat setting in summer and lower your thermostat setting in winter without feeling a difference in your comfort. In warmer weather, push the reverse switch to the left for downward airflow creating a wind chill effect.

    TROUBLESHOOTING If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan, it may be the result of incorrect assembly, installation or wiring. In some cases, these installation errors may be mistaken for defects. If you experience any faults, please check the Troubleshooting section below.
