Topping up oil (Fig. 1)
1. Check the oil level as described in 8.1.
2. Place the product on a level, even surface.
3. And turn it over.
4. Remove the sight glass (4). Use the hexagon spanner
supplied for this (9).
5. Use the supplied oil filling bottle (10) to pour approx.
130 ml of oil into the oil filling opening (4). Do not fill
the oil tank right up to the brim!
6. Refit the sight glass (4). Use the hexagon spanner
supplied for this (9).
7. Check the oil level through the sight glass (4) after a
short period of operation. The oil level should be in the
middle of the sight glass (4).
8. If the oil level is too low, repeat the process.
8.3
Insert a flat chisel (7) or pointed
chisel (8) (Fig. 2, 3)
1. Clean the flat chisel (7) or the pointed chisel (8) before
each use.
2. Apply a little lubricating grease to the shaft.
3. Pull out the locking bolt (5) as far as it will go, turn it
180° and then release it.
4. Insert the flat chisel (7) or pointed chisel (8) into the
tool receiver (6) and push it in completely as far as it
will go.
5. Turn the locking bolt (5) a further 180° and release it.
Note:
Check that the tool attachment is fitted securely.
Tool attachments that are not fitted correctly or securely
may come loose during operation and injure you.

Remove the flat chisel (7) or
pointed chisel (8) (Figs. 2, 3)
1. Pull out the locking bolt (5) as far as it will go, turn it
180° and then release it.
2. Remove the flat chisel (7) or pointed chisel (8) from
the tool receiver (6).

Adjust the additional handle (1)
(Fig. 4)
ATTENTION
Only use the product with the additional handle fitted.
Notes:
The additional handle can be rotated 360° on the product
and can be moved to any desired/needed position.
For your safety, the product must only be held by the han-
dle and the additional handle during operation. This pre-
vents electric shock when touching the lines.
1. Release the clamping screw (1a).
2. Position the additional handle (1) in a comfortable and
safe working position for you.
3. Re-tighten the clamping screw (1a).

Operation
WARNING
Danger of injury!
Only insert the mains plug into the socket when the
product is ready for use.
ATTENTION
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
9.1
Selecting working position (Fig. 1)
Horizontal working position:
• Hold the additional handle (1) with your left hand and
the handle (3) with your right hand (for right-handed
users).
• Make sure you have a stable footing to safely absorb
the recoil.
Vertical working position:
• Hold the handle (3) firmly with both hands.
• Stand so that you can guide the tool attachment
straight down, and use the weight of the product for
the work.
Note:
Only work with moderate pressure to maximise impact
absorption.

Switching the product on/off
(Fig. 1)
WARNING
Always make sure that the tool attachment is fitted cor-
rectly!
Switching on
1. Insert the mains plug into a properly fused mains
socket.
2. Press and hold the on/off switch (2).
Switching off
1. Release the on/off switch (2).
9.2.1
Switching on continuous operation
1. Press and hold the on/off switch (2).
2. Press the lock switch (2a).
3. Release the lock switch (2a) and the on/off switch (2).
Continuous operation is active.
Switching off continuous operation
1. Press the on/off switch (2) firmly to release the locking
switch (2a).
Continuous operation is ended.
Wait until the product has come to a standstill before set-
ting it down.
