    This port is used for debug or local diagnostic purposes only. Primary configuration of the EdgeMarc 4572W is performed from a web browser as covered in Edgewater Networks VoIP Operating System (VOS) for EdgeMarc User Manual. o T1/E1 WAN Ports o 4 T1/E1 o Off o T1 cable is not connected to the device.

    1. Remove the EdgeMarc 4572W and accessories from the shipping container:  AC Power cord  Rack mount ears  6 Philips head screws to attach the rack mount ears to the chassis © Edgewater Networks, Inc. All rights reserved.

    1. Install two screws 203 mm horizontally apart on a wall or other vertical surface. The screws should protrude from the wall so that you can fit the appliance between the head of the screw and the wall. © Edgewater Networks, Inc. All rights reserved.

    1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to local LAN port 1 on the back panel of the EdgeMarc 4572W (shown as B in the back panel diagram). 2. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer’s Ethernet port. © Edgewater Networks, Inc. All rights reserved.

    1. In the LAN Interface Settings section of the Network window, enter the IP address to be used on the LAN. By default, this is set to 192.168.1.1. 2. Enter the Subnet Mask to be used for the LAN. The default value is 255.255.255.0. © Edgewater Networks, Inc. All rights reserved.

    Select T1/E1 to enable the T1/E1 interface. The T1/E1 Configuration window displays. See Enabling the T1/E1 Interface. 2. Click Apply Later to save your settings.     The EdgeMarc can be deployed as a Session Border Controller in a network. It can also be deployed in a network behind an existing firewall.
