    Rack- Mount Installation You can install the EdgeProtect 7300 in a 19” rack using the rack mount kit supplied with the product. IMPORTANT Before installing the EdgeProtect 7300 in a rack, take note of the following conditions: Elevated Operating Ambient Temperature - If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack environment may be greater than room ambient.

    EdgeProtect 7300 does not hang from the AC outlet. 2. If connecting to an Internet router, Internet DMZ switch, cable modem or DSL modem, connect the Ethernet cable to the WAN Interface port (Port 2) on the EdgeProtect 7300 and the other end to the WAN device.
