7 Operation
7.1 Inserting/removing the battery
CAUTION
Danger of injury!
Do not insert the battery until the battery-powered tool is ready for
use.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (4) into the battery mount of the compatible power
tool. The battery (4) clicks into place audibly.
Removing the battery
1. Press the battery (4) release button (1) and pull the battery (4) out
of the battery mount of the compatible power tool.
7.2 Check the charge status of the battery
The charge status indicator (3) indicates the charge status of the battery
(4).
The charge status of the battery is indicated by the corresponding LED
light lighting up.
1. Press the charge status indicator button on the battery (2).

7.3 Depleted batteries
• A significantly shortened operating time despite charging indicates
that the battery has been used up and needs to be replaced. Only
use original replacement batteries.
