ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING
• Never operate the unit if it has a damaged or loose cord or plug.
• Never allow the power cord to be pulled, twisted or severely bent.
• Keep unit away from water or other liquid. If the unit falls into water, unplug it immediately; do
not reach into the water or liquid. Send to Henry Schein® ProRepair for evaluation and repair.
• Do not use outdoors or in an extremely humid or damp environment.
• Do not use an extension cord to operate.
• This unit has a grounded plug as a safety feature. Never bypass.
• When unplugging the unit, grasp plug with a dry hand. Never jerk cord.
• Keep unit away from excessive heat sources.
• Only use 115 V ac 60Hz input power.
GENERAL OPERATION / PRECAUTIONS
• To avoid damage to the handpiece, do not drop or subject it to excessive shock. If the
handpiece has been dropped, inspect the bur/instrument for damage.
• If any abnormalities are found, stop using immediately and contact Henry Schein® ProRepair.
• Do not operate the handpiece without a bur/instrument in the chuck.
• Turn off unit before unplugging.
• Do not open the chuck while operating.
• Do not set handpiece down until it has stopped.
• Only use accessories approved for use with this product.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during use.
• Never use in the presence of flammable liquids, aerosols or oxygen.
• Keep workspace clean and free of debris.
