Weisen Sie den Patienten in die Handhabung und Pflege der Schiene ein. 2.1. Anzugsdrehmomente bei der Einstellung und Anpassung der Orthese Folgende Drehmomentabelle listet sämtliche Schrauben und Muttern, die bei der Einstellung und Anpassung der Orthese/des Gelenks gelöst und festgedreht werden können.

Achtung: Die Verwendung der Drehmomenttabelle entbindet den Anwender nicht von einer sorgfältigen Prüfung des Schraubfalls (Schrauben dürfen z.B. nicht verschmutzt oder beschädigt sein).

Lösen Sie die Schrauben an den Schalenelementen mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug, ohne diese ganz herauszudrehen. Verschieben Sie die Schalenelemente in die gewünschte Position. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben wieder fest. Die Schalenelemente können durch Anformen an die Kontur angepasst werden.

Einstellung der Feinjustierung bei Ellbogenschienen Extension L/L, M/M ® Mit der Feinjustierung haben Sie die Möglichkeit, die Extensionslimitierung stufenlos einzustellen. Stellen Sie die Feinjustierung auf einen Wert von 0 bis -15 ein. Der eingestellte Wert reduziert die mittels der Anschlagschraube bereits eingestellte Limitierung.

Vor dem Einstellen der Flexionslimitierung müssen Sie die Federkraft aktivieren. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf „on“. Bringen Sie die Schiene in Flexion, bis Sie einen leichten Widerstand spüren. Überwinden Sie diesen, um die Federkraft zu aktivieren.

    Gebrauchsanweisung 2.4. Anlegen der Schiene durch den Orthopädietechniker 2.4.1. Federspannung deaktivieren Vor dem Anlegen der Schiene müssen Sie die Federspannung deaktivieren. Stellen Sie dazu den Schalter auf „off“. Bringen Sie die Schiene soweit in Flexion, wie der Patient bewegen darf. Der Aktivierungsmechanismus des Gelenks ist dann auf diese Position eingestellt und der Patient kann in dieser Position die Federkraft wieder aktivieren.

    Ellbogenschiene Extension ® Gebrauchsanweisung 2.4.2. Schiene am Ellbogen anlegen Legen Sie die Schiene von unten am Arm des Patienten an. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Drehpunkt des Schienengelenks mit dem physiologischen Ellbogengelenkdrehpunkt übereinstimmt. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die Gelenkstangen durch Schränken an die Armkontur des Patienten anzupassen.

Gurtlängen anpassen und nach Bedarf einstellen Stellen Sie die Gurte auf die gewünschte Länge ein und kürzen Sie sie bei Bedarf an dem Gurtende, an dem sich das doppelseitige Klettstück befindet. Bringen Sie die Schiene in Flexion. Lösen Sie zum Ablegen zunächst den breiten, elastischen Oberarmgurt. Lösen Sie dann die restlichen Gurte durch Öffnen der Clipverschlüsse und fädeln Sie die Gurte nicht aus.
