FAQ

When I use the hot foil pen, the hot foiling result becomes poor. Why?
The performance of the hot foil pen may be affected by the following three factors.

  1. Processing temperature for foil paper. The processing temperature for foil paper varies according to type. When you use foil paper from other brands with xTool hot foil pen, the hot foiling results may not be satisfactory. It is recommended to use the foil paper provided by xTool.
  2. Ambient temperature. Using the hot foil pen in a cold environment may cause it to heat up slowly or fail to reach the appropriate processing temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to use the hot foil pen indoors with a temperature between 10°C and 35°C.
  3. Condition of the hot foil pen. If your hot foil pen is damaged, contact our after-sales customer services.
