Disassembly Procedures
Disassembly SOP
Preparation before disassemble:
- When replacing parts or circuit boards, clamp the lead wires around terminals before soldering.
- When replacing a high wattage resistor (more than 1W of metal oxide film resistor) in circuit board, keep the resistor about 5mm away from circuit board.
- Keep wires away from high voltage, high temperature components and sharp edges.
- Keep wires in their original position so as to reduce interference.
- Usage of this product please refer to also user's manual.

- This monitor should be operated only at the correct power sources indicated on the label on the rear end of the monitor. If you're unsure of the power supply in your residence, consult your local dealer or power company and check up user manual.
- Use only the special power adapter that comes with this monitor for power input.
Do not remove the monitor cabinet. There is high-voltage parts inside that may cause electric shock to human bodies, even when the power cord is unplugged. - Stop using the monitor if the cabinet is damaged. Have it checked by a service technician.
- Put your monitor only in a clean, dry environment. If it gets wet, unplug the power cable Immediately and consult your service technician.
- Always unplug the monitor before cleaning it. Clean the cabinet with a clean, dry cloth. Apply non-ammonia based cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glass screen.
- Keep the monitor away from magnetic objects, TV sets, and transformer.
- Do not place heavy objects on the monitor or power cord.

Trouble Shooting
Problem | Possible Solution |
Power LED is not ON | - Press the
button to check if the monitor is in the ON mode. - Check if the power cord is properly connected to the monitor and the power outlet.
- Check Power Indicator function in main menu OSD. Select "ON" to turn on power LED.

The power LED lights amber and there is no screen image | - Check if the monitor and the computer are in the ON mode.
- Make sure the signal cable is properly connected the monitor and the computer.
- Inspect the signal cable and make sure none of the pins are bent.
- Connect the computer with another available monitor to check if the computer is properly working.

Screen image is too light or dark | - Adjust the Contrast and Brightness settings via OSD.
|
Screen image bounces or a wave pattern is present in the image | - Make sure the signal cable is properly connected to the monitor and the computer.
- Move electrical devices that may cause electrical interference.
|
Screen image has color defects (white does not look white) | - Inspect the signal cable and make sure that none of the pins are bent.
- Perform Reset via OSD.
- Adjust the R/G/B color settings or select the Color Temperature via OSD.

No sound or sound is lost | - Make sure the audio cable is properly connected to the monitor.
- Adjust the volume settings of both your monitor and computer.
- Make sure the computer sound card driver is properly installed and activated.
- Make sure the audio source is correct on the OSD.

Take care during handling the LCD module with backlight unit
- Must mount the module using mounting holes arranged in four corners.
Do not press on the panel, edge of the frame strongly of electric shock as this will result in damage to the screen. - Do not scratch or press on the panel with any sharp objects, such as pencil or pen as this may result in damage to this panel.
- Protect the module from the ESD as it may damage the electronic circuit (C-MOS).
- Make certain that treatment body are grounded through wrist band.
- Do not leave the module in high temperature and in areas of high humidity or a long time.
- Avoid contact with water as it may as hot circuit within the module.
- If the surface of panel became dirty, please wipe it off with a soft material. (Cleaning with a dirty or rough cloth may damage the panel.)
