Activation
Hold in the RESET button while
applying power to the unit.
NOTE: Do not operate with the default firmware loaded by this mode. Use it only to load the most current
firmware to the device.
Hold down the RESET button for
about 9 sec. until the power LED
blinks three times (once at
3 seconds, again at 6 seconds,
again at 9 seconds.). Then
release and press RESET
momentarily (for <1 seconds)
within 1 second.
NOTE: Nothing happens if the
momentary press does not
occur within 1 second.
Reset Modes
Result
The device reverts to the factory default
firmware for a single power cycle.
Performs a complete reset to factory
defaults (except the firmware).
•
Unmutes all inputs and outputs and
sets them to 0 db.
•
Inputs 1 to 4 are mixed to
corresponding outputs 1 to 4 (all
other mix-points are set to 0 dB
gain and muted).
•
Returns DSP processing to defaults
and bypassed.
•
Clears all presets and group master
memory.
•
Digital input ports are inactive and
not configured.
The device continues to run the soft
loaded firmware. The reset LED blinks
4 times (0.1 second each blink) in a
quick successtion following a
successful reset.
Purpose and Notes
Use this mode to revert to the factory
default firmware for a single power
cycle if incompatibility issues arise
with user-loaded firmware. All user
files and settings are maintained.
Use this mode to start over with
default configuration. This mode is
equivalent to SIS command ZXXX
(see Reset (ZAP)/Erase
Commands
on page 23).
