How to Reset the DWR-M972V 4G+ CAT 7 Wi-Fi Router
Soft Reset

Connect your DWR-M972V using either Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable (from devices such as
smartphones, laptops, or computers).
Access the router's web interface by entering its IP address into a web browser on the

address bar https://192.168.0.1 then press enter.
You will be prompted to enter the username and password to access the router's settings.

Enter "admin" for the username and password (refer to the label sticker at the back of the
router) unless you have changed them previously.
Note: If you cannot log in using the default admin password, you will need to hard reset
the router to factory defaults.

Navigate to the More tab on the home page, then under System Options, select Factory
Reset

Click Confirm Factory Reset to initiate the soft reset process. The DWR-M972V router
will restart, and its settings will be back to factory defaults.

- Page 4 Remove the back battery cover of the router and find the reset button, which is a small black button. Make sure the DWR-M972V Router is turned on. Use a paper clip to press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds. Ensure the battery is charged above 30% or connect the adapter for power.
