How to Set Up DWR-M972V 4G+ CAT 7 Wi-Fi Router through

Ensure your SIM card has been activated by your carrier. To insert your SIM card, follow

the slot's diagram. Push the SIM Card holder to unlock it, insert the SIM card carefully,

then pull it to lock it in place.

a. Remove the battery cover to access the SIM card slot.

b. The SIM card must be Nano-Sized

Connect the power adapter to the DWR-M972V's back panel socket. Plug the other end

of the power adapter into the wall outlet or power strip then press the power button to turn

the device on.

Note: The router includes a battery backup feature to ensure uninterrupted operation

during power outages or when disconnected from a power source)

Press the power button and wait until the Power, Wi-Fi, and Signal Strength indicators

light up, indicating that the device has fully rebooted.

Connect your DWR-M972V wirelessly to your smart phone or tablet. The default Wi-Fi

network name (SSID) will be either D-LINK2G-XXXX or D-LINK5G-XXXX, with the

password provided on the device label.

Download and install D-Link Mobile Connect app from your mobile device via Play Store

/ Apple store.

On your mobile device, go to Wi-Fi Settings and connect to the default Wi-Fi network name

(SSID) will be either D-LINK2G-XXXX or D-LINK5G-XXXX, with the password provided

on the device label.
