    1.1 Purpose The BM54 Series User Manual provides information on the product features and handling methods of the BM54 Series. It also offers guidance to improve the efficiency of product design and assembly processes when using the BM54 Series.     BM54 Series Guideline Page - 6 - of 13 4 Notice for Device Handling 4.1 About Setting the Distance Between PCBs Use within the specified distances between PCBs below. If there is any tilt in the PCB, ensure that the bottom of the connector leads fit within the specified dimensions.

    BM54 Series Guideline Page - 7 - of 13 4.3 Floating Range Due to its floating design, this connector allows a ±0.4mm board misalignment tolerance in the X and Y directions when mated. However, it is not intended to compensate for continuously changing misalignments caused by vibration or other factors.

Note that insertion and removal forces will increase with the number of mounted connectors, so be sure to verify this before use.

After the start of insertion, follow the alignment and insert perpendicularly to the board without applying an overloading to the connector.
