INSTALLATION (CONT.):
7. Use the Passenger Side Drill Template, as shown in Fig. 2,
to drill two 1/16" pilot holes. The drill template provides a
perimeter pattern and a locator hole to outline where the pilot
holes must are to be drilled.
8. Use the Driver Side Drill Template, as shown in Fig. 3, to drill
two 1/16" pilot holes. The drill template provides a perimeter
pattern and two locator holes to outline where the pilot holes
are to be drilled.
9. Mount the two stainless steel brackets to rear hatch with
the provided four self-tapping screws. The self-tapping
screws will be tapped into the 1/16" pilot holes of the rear
hatch created in Steps 4 and 5. The recommended torque
specification for the self-tapping screws is 10 in-lb. Once
the screws have been tightened, the stainless steel brackets
should be fully seated.
10.Re-install the plastic rectangular fascia that was removed in
Step 1. Reference original OEM instructions for re-installation
help.
11.Take the nFORCE Rear Interior Lightbar and connect
®
all wiring. Once all wires are connected, insert the nylon
standoffs and black oxide 2.5" long screws into the Lightbar.
Thread screws and tighten to a recommended torque
specification of 15 in-lb, or until Lightbar is fully seated.
